Hoffman earned the win in a 5-4 victory over Ohio Northern. He entered in the eighth inning of game one and tallying four quick outs. Hoffman then tallied a pair of saves in a road doubleheader at John Carroll, once again coming on in the eighth to keep the Blue Streaks limited and eventually ending the first game on a swinging strikeout with the tying run 90 feet away. He then culminated game two by overcoming jams in the eighth and ninth to leave the bases loaded both times.
