John Carroll senior Bradon Maddern (Akron/Akron Firestone) posted a dominant performance in a win over Ohio Northern. Maddern struck out 11 in 7 2/3 innings, allowing no runs. He retired eight straight at one point in the victory, and only allowed one hit over the first seven innings. All three hits allowed were singles.
