Marietta sophomore Chris Petrucci (Farmington, W.Va./Notre Dame) had three multiple hits games in the Pioneers' opening weekend, including two nationally ranked opponents. He had two hits and an RBI against #1 Cortland State; two hits, 3 RBI and a triple against #23 Methodist and was 3-for-5 against Neumann. Slugged .526 and had an on base average of .500. Was also 4-for-4 on stolen bases.
