Heidelberg senior outfielder Christian Verde (Highland Hts./Mayfield) hit .750 to help the Berg split a pair of non-conference games with Trine University and Ohio Wesleyan University. Verde went six-of-eight with four runs, eight RBI, two doubles and two home runs that came at a crucial time to help the Heidelberg rally back from large deficits in both games.
