Ellis averaged 30 points and 3.5 rebounds-per-game last week to lead the Pioneers past John Carroll, 104-98, and Otterbein, 78-56. Ellis scored a career-high 51 points against John Carroll, connecting on 13-of-17 (76.5%) field goal attempts, 8-of-11 (72.7%) three-pointers and 17-of-19 (89.5%) free throws. His 51 points scored is tied for the most by an NCAA player and second most among four-year colleges this season.

Binkely averaged 25.5 points and 3.5 rebounds last week to lead the Quakers past Earlham, 82-68, and Heidelberg, 99-65.  Binkley shot 13-of-18 (.722) from the field and was a perfect 14-of-14 from the free-throw line.

Homan went 5-0, won the 174-pound title and helped lead the Purple Raiders to a team title at the Messiah Petrofes Invitational. Homan had three pins, a tech fall and a major decision in his five wins and was given the sportsmanship award at the tournament.

Scheib took first place in the 1650-yard free style (16:23.29) and 500-yard freestyle (4:40.73) at the Wooster Invitational. He was also part of the 800-yard freestyle relay team that took eighth (7:13.00). The Purple Raiders finished in second place in the six team field.

Schauer led the Polar Bears at the Wooster Invitational with three top-10 finishes. Schauer finished fourth in the 200 back in 2:09.53, sixth in the 400 I.M. in 4:50.81 and ninth in the 200 I.M. in 2:15.20. She was also a member of the 400 medley relay team that was seventh in 4:11.99 and the 800 free relay team that finished 10th in 8:25.98.

Hershberger won the high jump with a mark of 6-feet, 8-inches at the Mount Union Toy Drive Invite. His jump currently ranks third in Div. III.

Plant won the 60 meter hurdles at the Mount Union Toy Drive Invite in a time of 8.16, which currently ranks third in Div. III.

Aveni set a school record in the pole vault event at the Mount Union Toy Drive Invite. Aveni won the event with a mark of 12-feet, 2.75-inches, which currently ranks 3rd in Div. III.

Cannata broke two school records at the Youngstown Icebreaker Invite.  Cannata placed 14th in the 60 meter dash (7.83) and seventh in the 200 meter dash (25.21) in a field comprised of mostly Div. I runners.
