Lewis won three events in a loss to nationally ranked Case Western. He won the 50-yard breaststroke in a time of 27.71 seconds, the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:02.08 and the 400-yard individual medley in a time of 4:27.11. Lewis also swam the second leg on the 200-yard medley relay team that took third in a time of 1:43.22.
