Cox posted two double-doubles in three victories over the holiday break. The Crusaders have now won 10 games in a row. Against Wilmington, Cox scored 15 points with 15 rebounds and followed that with 19 points and 10 rebounds against Mount Union.  On the week, Cox averaged 15.3 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.67 assists-per-game and was 19-of-29 (.655) from the field.

Heffington averaged 20.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists-per-game to lead the Blue Streaks to a 3-1 record over the holiday break. Heffington highlighted the week with a season-high 25 points in a road win at Otterbein last Wednesday. On the week, she shot 28-of-48 (.583) from the field, including 8-of-13 (.615) from three-point range and was 17-of-23 (.739) from the free-throw line.

Burkholder won the 125-pound championship at the Waynesburg Invitational by going 3-0 with two falls. He remains undefeated on the season and is ranked 7th nationally in the 125-pound class.

Lewis led BW in a loss to Divison II Rollins College during its winter break training trip in Florida. He won the 50-yard breaststroke in a career-best time of 27.34  and was second in the 100-yard individual medley in a career-best time of 55.88. Lewis also swam the third leg on the winning 200-yard medley relay team (1:04.19).

Nockengost led BW with a victory and a third-place finish in a loss to Division II Rollins College during its winter break training trip in Florida. She won the 50-yard butterfly in a season-best time of 28.41 and was third in the 50-yard breaststroke in a season-best time of 34.52. In addition, Nockengost swam the third leg on the second-place 200-yard medley relay team (1:55.04).
